Beautiful concert. Performers were so so personable and passionate. Their ensemble was impeccable.

Thanks for choosing these two lively, energetic, personable and technically talented young men to open the series.

Love the selections.  Beautiful playing, and great sound sere at SARHC too.  Best wishes for the New Year!  (GB)

Beautiful!

A truly wonderful afternoon.

Very expressive playing, difficult works performed with ease and naturalness.  Outstanding musicianship.

One of the advantages of live concerts in the age of COVID is that audience coughing is virtually non-existant.  Advantages of the live audience without the disadvantage.  (FB)

Wonderful talent.  Brilliant program.  (BF)

Very good!

A real pleasure!

What amazing musicianship,  imagination and colour.  Simply the whole package.  Great to hear Phil again.  A solo piano recital? (JR)

Fabulous Artists!

Wonderful rep.

Very personable, well spoken, high class, high calibre afternoon.

Bravo (RR)

OUTSTANDING

(J)

Loved the pre-concert chats with Maddy, Phil and Cameron.  Loved their explanations and humour!

Hure-Virtuosi passion then in an instant melted to supreme faraway fantasy.  Cameron's expressive face could foretell what was to emerge musically.  Mitt-full piano notes of Phil most dramatic ending to ppp before the last poetic movement.

DeFalla-full of Spanish verve and sensitivity.  Love the muted last phrase!

Albeniz- Loved Cameron's "over the top" arrangement!  Haunting harmonics into sprightly passages.

Rave;-Habanera-lovely!

Joyful then to rich sonorous cello, then contrasting pizzicati.

Delightful!  Please bring back this dynamic duo soon!  What a team-totally attuned to one another. Bravissimo!

(Loved the "strip" show by Phil before the Jean Hure sonata.  You knew he would be hot in this one, eh?)  (MJ)
