This was one of the best concerts this year. It has been a wonderful season of fine musicians, and one is hard tasked to make a choice. However, today’s show was polished and technically exciting. I enjoyed the very fine opening YAP piano of Anica Warkentine. She is an artist for us to keep our eyes and ears on. She has great potential, and the poise to carry off many projects. Warmest good wishes to her. The artists played beautifully together. They chatted well with the audience. They made us feel were a real part of the program. The main program was varied; introduced new composers to me; and was very satisfying. They obviously feel very passionate about the art form. Warmest good wishes to them both… and you can send us more East Coasters with this talent any time. Keep up the good work Virtuosi. Please remember to take your mask off when you use the microphone. Thanks for a fine season, in spite of all the challenges you have had to put it together. Have a restful summer … and I look forward to seeing and hearing more fine chamber music in the next season. Pianistic waves full of expression complimented by violin's own waves of sweeping grandeur. Joyful pizzicatti also reflected in the piano. Harmonies eerie! Exciting climax, STUNNING PERFORMANCE!!!
